Soooo I just realized that the post I wrote on Monday was not actually published...oops! So I guess I will catch you up and keep it short and sweet!
This blog is not a workout or health or healthy cooking blog but all of those things create a healthy and energy-filled life so in my opinion, they can be sources of inspiration! I started a 6 week workout program on Monday and I am super excited! My amazing sister Alyssa is a personal trainer/fitness blogger/allergy free cook/coach's wife + so many more things and she was kind enough to give a boost to my non-existent fitness regime. She is launching her online fitness coaching business and I wanted a program to get me more consistent with working out and burn some fat. I'm not looking to lose weight necessarily, just lose a few inches and gain strength + energy. She's giving me personalized daily workouts, FUEL sheets and a weekly recipe and I am already loving it! I've taken my beginning measurements and pictures, written down my goals and I am ready to go! I definitely want to post some of my workouts throughout the week and some milestones or other inspiration that I find. This week has consisted of a mix of different cardio every day, upper body one day, lower body another day, today was total body and tomorrow I get to run and do yoga! I love how creative her workouts are and even though I was feeling a little under the weather this week, I still can complete them and I look forward to them!
Her inspirational quote of the week is:
"The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps-we must step up the stairs" ~Vance Havner
She posted about my workouts and my goals today on her blog Home Field Fitness so you should go check it out because she's awesome!
Here are a few of my favorite fitness inspiration photos that will help motivate me along with my supportive sister (and trainer!)
