So we are finally in the process of signing a lease for a new house after about 4 months in my parents house. That's been quite the adventure and I've been going crazy not being able to decorate as much as I'd like. I come up with a million ideas for my parents house but it's hard to get them to change much. Also why I'm on such a hiatus from blogging as we're transitioning and I'm trying to come up with what I actually want to do with this blog. Anyways...I've been searching the most random pins when I'm feeding Em in the middle of the night. Here's some of what I've been looking at and want to use/do/put in our new house!!

I am so amazed when I go into the dollar store and can't believe how many things there are for organizing a house for so cheap!

Search: Non-toxic cleaning supply essentials
That came up with a lot ways to use essential oils in your homemade cleaning products. Good thing my sister sells and swears by oils!!! It kinda sucks having to start over in stocking up the house since we moved across an ocean i.e. no cleaning supplies, spices, foods, paint, etc allowed but I am excited to make my own cleaners and it gives me a fresh start

Search: How to cover circular track lighting
Backstory...our eat in kitchen has this crazy light fixture that I'm wracking my brain to find a temporary way to cover it. Normally I don't even care but it is so out of our style, the house's style and it just looks off. Our landlord is pretty lenient so maybe I'll convince him to switch it out one day! Anyways, so I couldn't find anything for that...duh but I did find this brilliant idea!

I will definitely be posting a tutorial for this one!! I've also seen a photo of the light bulbs switched out with Edison bulbs, making it look industrial and wahlah it's better! Ha! We will see!
Search: Modern secretary desk...gosh I'm random
I literally couldn't find anything that I liked :( I have this huge dark brown fancy secretary desk that doesn't fit my style but is totally awesome so I'm trying to come up with a way to make it look modern so I can pull it off as eclectic :D
Search: Repurposed coca-cola crate
So I have an awesome coca-cola crate (the ones that the bottles used to come in) and I want to be able to use it in a cool way! Before the search I had thought it could make a really cool centerpiece but that's fairly unoriginal. Then maybe a cool planter (nope can't get wet) or an organizer of some sort (like I have enough markers, washi tape to fit in all 24 boxes-nah takes up too much room). Or maybe a really cool light fixture! (But who am I kidding...I'm lazy when it comes to stuff like that.)So then I searched and found this! Perf!
I'll make sure to update y'all with my own versions of these things when we finally get moved in. I'm itching to get creating again!
