I've Got a Surprise!!! And the Catch Up of the Century

So it's been about 3 months since I last posted and I'm kicking myself for it! In the past 3 months, I have started/completed a 6 week workout program from my sister. I talked about starting it and I was about halfway through when I went on my not on purpose sabbatical. I finished it off extremely well and I am incredibly happy with the results and the changes in lifestyle it provided. You can read more about my workout progression and completion on my sister's blog HERE. You can also read updates and see photos of her new sweet baby girl!!!!
In the past 3 months I also went back to Fort Collins for 3 weeks to spend time with family and friends and ultimately meet my new baby niece. She is just the cutest little thing and I wish that I never had to leave. Look at those sweet cheeks!
photo complements of my sister of course

My trip was pretty uneventful but full none the less. Between morning snuggles with this cutie and meeting up with friends, you could probably find me enjoying the restaurants that Hawaii does not have to offer and eating all the fresh strawberries and rhubarb I could get my hands on (both of those are in short supply and craaazy expensive around here). I also went garage sale-ing and IKEA shopping with my mom so that was awesome. Oh how do I miss IKEA. While I was in Colorado, Chris was training on the Big Island so Tucker was staying at our friends, Lauren and Isaac's house which was definitely a party. I think he had a good time...

I'm sure there are a million more things that I forgot to mention because a lot can happen in 3 months but for now, I'll leave you with a huge surprise!!!

We are incredibly excited for this new adventure and I'm already dying to create this new baby's nursery design. I am 15 weeks as of right now and feeling pretty decent. I have good days and some crummy days but all in all, I'm good. I think getting back into working out with my program has been instrumental for staying active! I did not suffer from crazy morning sickness thank goodness but I do have pretty low energy levels and my appetite is almost non existent, but, I'll totally take that over being sick. I can't even believe that there is a little person, a little piece of each of us, growing inside of me (and apparently flipping around constantly according to an ultrasound...looks like we might have a little ball of energy in our future). Baby's heartbeat is strong and he/she is growing bigger every day! It's almost unexplainable  how happy I am to know that I will soon be a mama and a sweet little person will be depending on Chris and I for everything. We are so blessed and so excited!
Here's a bump pic of my teeny tiny belly...baby is around the size of an apple :)
